WhizPDF is a browser-based file conversion service. It converts between PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and common image formats, and includes OCR for scanned documents, plus tools to merge, split, compress, protect and watermark PDFs — more than 40 tools in total.

How it works

You upload a file, our conversion engine processes it in seconds, and you download the result. Files are kept for up to 60 minutes so a download can be retried, then deleted; we do not read or share your documents.

Who it is for

Anyone who occasionally needs to turn a PDF into an editable document, combine scans into one file, or shrink a report so it fits an email attachment — students, office workers, accountants, lawyers and small businesses.

Business model

Every tool is available to start without signing up, with daily limits on free use. Basic is $4.99 per month or $39 per year and includes 100 OCR credits per month. Pro is $19.99 per month or $159 per year and includes 700 OCR credits per month. Both paid plans remove daily caps for standard conversions; OCR credits reset monthly and do not roll over. That is the entire business: no ads, no reselling of data.
