Frequently asked questions
How do I extract specific pages from a PDF?
Upload the PDF, select page thumbnails or enter page numbers and ranges such as 1-3, 7, 12-15, then click Extract pages. The selected pages are saved as a new PDF.
Can I extract non-consecutive pages?
Yes. Select individual pages or combine ranges and individual numbers, for example 2, 5-7, 11. The output keeps the original PDF page order.
Does extracting pages change my original PDF?
No. The source PDF is left untouched. A separate PDF is created with only the pages you selected.
What is the difference between Extract Pages and Split PDF?
Extract Pages creates one PDF containing the pages you choose. Split PDF breaks a document into multiple PDF files or sections, usually packaged as a ZIP.
Can I extract pages from a password-protected PDF?
Unlock the PDF first with our Unlock PDF tool, then upload the unlocked copy here. This lets the page preview load reliably before extraction.
Will the extracted pages lose quality?
No. Pages are copied into the new PDF without intentionally rasterizing or compressing their content.
