Is WhizPDF really free?
Yes. You can use every tool without signing up, subject to daily free limits. Basic and Pro subscriptions remove daily caps for standard conversions and include 100 or 700 OCR credits per month.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start converting without signing up. An account adds saved history and lets you choose a paid plan with monthly OCR credits and no daily cap for standard conversions.
What happens to my files?
Files are processed only to perform your conversion, kept for up to 60 minutes so you can retry the download, and then deleted. We never read, analyze, share or sell your documents.
Is there a file size limit?
Free and Basic uploads support files up to 50 MB per file. Pro supports files up to 100 MB per file. Multi-file merge tools apply the limit to the combined upload.
Can WhizPDF handle scanned documents?
Yes. Scanned pages are detected automatically and routed through OCR, so the result is real, editable text rather than a picture.
Why is my converted file not perfectly formatted?
PDF files store appearance, not structure, so complex layouts are rebuilt by approximation. Our guide on converting PDF to Word without losing formatting explains what to check and which settings to use.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The tools run in any modern mobile browser - no app install required.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Cancel Basic or Pro any time from your account page. Cancellation stops future renewals; your current paid access remains until the end of the billing period.
Which formats are supported?
More than 40 conversion paths across PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and common image formats, plus merge, split, compress, protect and watermark tools.
