Security and file privacy

Files are processed, then deleted

Source files and generated results are available for up to 60 minutes after conversion completion for download retry. Automated cleanup removes associated working files after the retention window expires. We do not maintain an archive or backup of user files.

Encrypted transfer

Traffic to WhizPDF uses HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or later) through our hosting and CDN layer. Download links use random tokens and expire with the retention window. Keep your own copy of any original file you need.

Automated processing

Conversions are performed by automated software. WhizPDF staff do not routinely open or review user documents. Support diagnostics are designed to contain technical metadata rather than document contents.

Limited third-party processing

Some tools need specialist processing services. Selected Office and PDF conversions use WPS, selected OCR operations use Baidu, and handwriting removal uses New Oriental AI. The relevant provider receives the file or page data required for that operation. Browser-only tools process files on your device rather than uploading them to our conversion server.

Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load automatically shortly after the page is rendered. They may collect page views, device information, and interaction or session-replay data. Clarity recordings are subject to its masking behavior, so information visible in the browser may be included. These services are separate from file processing and do not receive uploaded file bytes as part of a conversion request. Payments and account data

Payments are handled by PayPal. We do not store full card details. If you create an account, we retain the account, billing and usage data needed to provide the service, enforce quotas, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
