Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier.
• Usage and quota data: the tools you use, conversion counts, file sizes and related technical records needed to operate the service and enforce limits.
• Uploaded files: the source files and generated results needed to complete your requested conversion.
• Site usage data: page views, device information and interaction signals collected by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand and improve the service.

2. How files are used

Files are processed to provide the operation you requested. Analytics tools are separate from file processing and do not receive uploaded file bytes as part of a conversion request. Microsoft Clarity may record page content and interactions subject to its masking behavior, so information displayed in the browser may be included in analytics recordings. Some tools use specialist processing providers: WPS for selected Office/PDF conversions, Baidu for selected OCR operations, and New Oriental AI for handwriting removal. The relevant provider receives the file or page data needed for that operation.

3. What we do not do

• We do not read your documents for unrelated purposes, train AI models on them, sell them or use them for advertising.
• We do not operate an advertising network.
• We do not keep an archive or backup of uploaded user files after the retention period.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load automatically shortly after the page is rendered. They may set analytics identifiers or collect page views, device information and interaction or session-replay data. These tools are used for product improvement, not advertising. The cookie notice names these services. Clicking OK only closes the notice and stores an acknowledgement; it does not disable analytics. Browser settings can block third-party storage, although this may not prevent the scripts from loading.

5. Payments

Payments and subscriptions are handled by PayPal. We do not see or store your full card details. PayPal processes payment information under its own privacy policy.

6. Data retention

Source files and generated results are available for up to 60 minutes after conversion completion for download retry. Automated cleanup removes the associated working files after the retention window expires. Account, billing and usage records are retained while needed to provide the service, enforce quotas, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations, and are deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data. Contact support@whizpdf.com and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
